Project Manager
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage cross -functional projects for a large bluechip company.
Minimum Experience: 3 years project management experience
degree level (2:1)
Accountabilities/responsibilities:
-Planning and designing project plans and tasks and proactively monitoring their overall progress and delivery through to implementation
-Identifying, issues, risks and dependencies, initiating corrective action as well as managing risks to the Projects successful outcome
-Ensuring that there is efficient allocation of common resources and skills within the project.
-Build and maintain relationships with internal customers and stakeholders and report progress of the project at regular intervals to the Project Board
-Effectively manage work stream leaders, task owners and third party suppliers to ensure they deliver against agreed deadlines
Skill Set:
-Proven track record of project management within a matrix management environment
-Experience of providing direction and leadership to others
-A highly effective communicator and influencer with the ability to liaise confidently with internal and external customers and suppliers at all levels
-Familiarity with a range of project management tools, such as PRINCE2 would be an advantage
-Six Sigma strategy experience
-Thrives in a high-pressured / fast moving environment
-Good knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling projects
-The ability to find ways of solving or pre-empting problems.
